Thread algae
This aquarium algae forms a single long thread, it looks like spider web connecting the leaves of aquarium plants.
Excess nutrients, liquid fertilizers and too strong light flourish this aquarium algae. It grows rapidly and will compete with your aquarium plants.
Green threads all over the place are really an eyesore, you can remove it by twisting it around chopsticks then pull it out. Algae eaters such as Siamese algae eater and Amano shrimp will also help a lot to keep down their growth.
